About Tkong

Who We Are?

We are an independent media organization rooted in Hong Kong, with our team based in both Beijing and Hong Kong. Our primary mission is to provide coverage of stories that we believe are deliberately overlooked by mainstream media, while also sharing photography and promoting cultural exchange.

At present, most of Tkong's content is published on our official website. In the future, we plan to expand our presence to platforms including WeChat, YouTube, and Douyin, publishing content tailored to the characteristics of each platform.

Founded in 2021, Tkong initially focused on technology-related topics before gradually expanding into social, cultural, and political reporting and commentary. Today, we are placing greater emphasis on culture and photography in response to an evolving geopolitical landscape.

我們來自北京及香港，是一間根植於香港的獨立媒體。我們的主要內容是提供主流媒體刻意忽略的新聞覆蓋，以及分享攝影作品和文化交流。

目前，Tkong 的大部分內容於官網發表。未來我們將擴展至包括 WeChat, YouTube, Douyin 等平台，並在不同平台釋出適當的內容。

Tkong 創立於 2021 年，成立伊始主要關注科技議題，其後逐漸擴展至社會、文化觀察。如今，我們正進一步增加文化及攝影內容的比重，以回應不斷變化的地緣政治環境。
